About me

I have extensive experience in Paediatric Physiotherapy, working exclusively in paediatric and disability physiotherapy since graduating from Curtin University in 2017, with a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy). I have worked extensively with babies, toddlers and children in musculoskeletal and neurological fields, including disability. I have also worked on both sides of the NDIS, so have a comprehensive understanding of the funding and reporting requirements.

I approach sessions with patience and warmth, to assist children to engage in the session at their own pace. I enjoy working with children across their lifespan, from birth and post-birth complications to reaching milestones, and developing the skills needed to participate as much as a child can in their family life and community.

I believe that the best way to see positive outcomes is through strong family engagement and collaboration, so therapy is also occurring at home between sessions, in everyday play.

I am a mother to two beautiful children, Mr L who is 3 and Ms R who is 1. I understand the triumphs and challenges of being a parent, and the importance of building a program that works with the already busy life of a family.

Further training completed:

  • What is Best Practice in Early Childhood Intervention

  • Paediatric Physiotherapy Level 2 (Australian Physiotherapy Association)
